We also supply complete cable tray system with accessories and fixing components viz. unistrut, brackets, base plate, channels, etc. - Cable trays design is based on limitation of deflection of cable trays L/360, where "L" is the span between supporting structures. It is ordinarily recommended that spacing of structures be limited to 1500 mm to provide a techno economic design.
- Height of the flange with rib (optional) of the cable trays are designed based on the load carried by the cable trays and also the availability of space wherein the able trays are to be fixed. The rungs of the Ladder type cable trays are normally spaced between 250mm/300 mm pitch. The pitch is determined by the amount of sag permitted on the cables which is run on the tray.
- The width of the cable trays are determined by the diameter of cables, that are run over the trays i.e. the clearance between heavy duty cables is equal to the diameter of cables, or cable cluster that pass over the tray. Cables used for lighting, instrumentation and other similar loads are usually bundled in a cluster, duly clamped and are run along one side of the tray.
